When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. This is not a trait unique to HaHaLaughs.com and Comedy Carousel.

Submission of any information on our contact forms may be shared with a number of Comedy Carousel agents in order to better respond to your needs.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. This is to help eliminate robots and fake accounts from skimming our site for user data, ensure the quality/accuracy of listings and protect the overall security of our members.

This site is secured with third-party verification and SSL certificates to protect the integrity of transactions and user privacy just like any other reputable website. You can interact with members, shop our courses, and buy tickets with full confidence knowing your information is secure and our users are real people.

What data breach procedures we have in place

HaHaLaughs.com uses the latest security software to monitor data breaches, notify members, and limit the amount of sensitive data collected and retained on our database. Hackers can’t squeeze blood from a turnip, or in this case data to do not retain.

Users will be categorized into five primary roles; customer, student, teacher, producer, performer, and administrator. Data collected from users may be used to determine eligibility and authorize access to certain sections of the website.

Comedy Carousel in it’s sole discretion may analyze and share any “non-sensitive” data willingly submitted by users in our courses. This data may be collected from comments, quizzes, forms, search fields, and calculators. Again we will NEVER store or share personal contact info or financial information such as credit card info, bank accounts, routing numbers, etc
